LEKKER LEKKER STREET FOOD!! I was on the radio yesterday plugging my new book but talk inevitably turned to street food, which is my true love. No matter what I do or where I go I cannot escape this fact. There is a book film whatever in that I am going to get it done. I’ve been pitching it to publishers and tv companies for literally years, and they never seem to get it. I mean what’s not to get? The freshest, most un-pretentious form of food out there with a dash of fresh-as-fuck culture on the side? Fuck me - pass the chakalaka! Above are a few of my greatest hits from Jozi, Jerusalem, Kigali, Tel Aviv, Segou (Mali)… blah blah blah. Big love to anyone out there schlepping street food!

One of the old school, I’m afraid. Love this advert as a testament to how they used to do it. But most of it is about as relevant as Charles Saatchi breakdancing at a Bar Mitzvah, a sight that no-one needs to witness. Well, maybe it’d be funny for a second or two and then you’d have to look away.
